Christmas Sailing Schedule
Furneuax Freight will conduct its last sailing for 2016 departing Bridport on Monday the 19th of December and will resume scheduled sailings on January the 3rd, 2017.
Matthew Flinders III – Maintenance
In February 2017, Furneaux Freight will be conducting scheduled maintenance on the Matthew Flinders III. During this time the Bulldog 13 will be servicing Flinders Island. The only difference in the service is that no passengers will be able to travel with their vehicle. The last sailing with passengers will depart Bridport on February the 6th and the service with the Mathew Flinders III will resume by the 13th of March (or earlier)
21 Years of Flinders Island Shipping
21 Years ago in December the Matthew Flinders III was launched. Surrounding much controversy from the State Government, Flinders Council and local residents the same vessel continues to provide the shipping service to Flinders Island some 21 years later. Bad Weather – Flinders Island
Due to the inclement weather forecast for Bass Strait the Matthew Flinders will not be departing Bridport until Wednesday 13-7-16 arriving at Lady Barron on Thursday 14-7-16.
Tasports (Lady Barron Port) Wharfage Review
Tasports have recently release an updated schedule of charges for the Lady Barron Port. The change in prices will be effective from the 1-7-2016.

Port Welshpool (Gippsland Ports) Wharfage Review
Furneaux Freight have received notification from Gippsland Ports that wharfage rates will change from the 1st of July 2016. The major changes are as follows:
General Freight Per cubic meter from $4.80 to 4.86
Large Animals per head from $3.02 to $3.41
Small animals per head from $0.96 to $0.94
Berthing Fee per visit from $180.60 to $213.30

Furneaux Freight Pty Ltd have recently purchased a 25m custom built landing barge to enhance the service to all Furneaux Islands.

LADY BARRON FREIGHT DEPOT
